Offerings:

  • Swedish Massage: It deals with various techniques that are aimed to relax muscles through utilization of soothing long strokes. It is also effective in reducing stress while making your circulation improve.
     
    Deep Tissue: Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.
     
    Trigger Point Therapy: Often time when our bodies have been in chronic pain for extended periods of time, or has been injured.  There are areas of our body that refer pain, numbness or other sensations to other places in the body.  Pain can refer for different reasons.  It can be a muscle that is very tight and pinches a nerve.  Sciatica is one of the most common types of pain that can be worked out through this therapy.  Numbness or tingling in the hands is another condition that can be released.
     
  • Craniosacral Therapy: Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system by using soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams.

    *Craniosacral is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction including; Migraine Headaches, Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Motor-Coordination Impairments, Central Nervous System Disorders, Epilepsy, Improves balance, Improves blurred vision in some cases, Vertigo, Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries Chronic Fatigue, Emotional Difficulties,ADD, ADHD ,Autism, TMJ, PTSD, Fibromyalgia and Post-Surgical Dysfunction.

  • Structural Body Work: Uses hands on techniques to manipulate the muscles and fascia and reorganize the body's structure. It creates a more efficient use of the muscles, allows the body to conserve energy, and creates more efficient patterns of movement. Structural Body Work can be excellent at helping with many of the long term chronic problems a lot of people suffer from, like back ache, neck, and shoulder pain.  Home postural exercises will be discussed to assist you in your healing process.
  • Pre/ Postnatal Massage: Nurturing and soothing, this massage is beneficial throughout the childbearing year because it aids in relief of low back discomfort, supports ligament changes, eases water retention, improves circulation, relaxation and helps speed the healing process. Body pillows are used for support. 
  • Hot Stone Massage: A full body massage that uses heated basalt stones to create a calm and relaxing treatment.  The hot stones will help relax achy muscle groups, improve circulation, detoxify the body and still the mind.  Allowing the mind, and body to fall back in balance with one another.  *Hot Stone may be contraindicated to some conditions*
  • Raindrop Therapy: Many types of spinal misalignments are caused by viruses and bacteria that lie dormant along the spine.  These pathogens create inflammation, which in turn, contorts and disfigures the spine.  These techniques were learned and passed down from a medicine person.  Raindrop Therapy uses a sequence of highly antimicrobial essential oils designed to work together to reduce inflammation and kill responsible viral agents.  *The oils will continue to work for up to one week following the treatment, with continued re-alignment taking place. 
  • Myofascial Release: Soft tissue therapy used to treat postural deviations and restricted movement resulting in pain.  Myofasical release deals directly with the fascia in the body, a connective tissue that wraps every muscle, bone, organ, tissue, right down to the cellular level.  This therapy works with the fascia to re-establish balance in the connective tissue, creating balance and more functional ease.
